New To-Do's indication

To-Do's populate a little round dot indicating that a new comment has been made on an existing To-Do but I would like to see an indication for when you receive a new To-Do. I understand that you can create the To-Do then add a comment for it to populate, but for efficiency it would be nice for the To-Do itself to populate to the assignee.
