Clinical Enhancements

Faster Requisition Ordering from Inbox

EHR

This update speeds up requisition ordering from the Inbox by automatically filling in the date and preselecting favorite contacts (pathology, lab, imaging), reducing manual entry and saving time.

How to Use:

From the Inbox - Performed folder, tap Edit to select orders, then Share - Place Order to open the requisition screen. The current date is auto-filled, and favorite contacts (from Settings - Clinic) are preselected by order type. You can replace, add, or select contacts from Contacts or In House tabs. Tap Place to submit the order, which moves it to the Pending Results folder.

Streamlined Sign-Off in Linear Progress Note

The sign-off process in the Linear Progress Note (LPN) has been streamlined so that banners no longer appear during sign-off, ensuring an uninterrupted workflow.

How to Use:

Complete the sign-off in the Linear Progress Note as usual. No banners will appear, and the process now runs smoothly without banners appearing on the screen.
 

We are actively developing new features that are currently accessible to our beta testers for early feedback and testing. This includes the latest enhancements and improvements we are rolling out for trial use, with full availability coming soon!

EZPay Enhancements

Online Payments

PMS - In Beta

We are enhancing EZPay with new Online Payments functionality, allowing practices to embed a secure payment option directly on their website. Patients can submit payments without being redirected to another page, while transactions are automatically recorded in PMS.

How to Use: 

Practices currently using EZPay can request activation from their Ezderm Account Manager by emailing their practice name, website URL(s), and default Square clinic/provider names to customersuccess@ezderm.com. Our team will provide a customizable code snippet, which can be embedded on your website and styled to match your site. Patients can securely make payments using their Statement ID, Medical Record Number, or personal information. Submitted payments are automatically recorded in the PMS and applied to charges following system logic. 

Scheduling Enhancements

Advanced Schedule Filtering

PMS - In Beta

The new scheduler enhancement allows advanced filtering combinations, making it easier to manage complex schedules across multiple providers, clinics, and resources. Ideal for larger practices, it helps identify open slots quickly and supports more flexible scheduling.

How to Use:

Access the Schedule New button to toggle between the existing scheduler and the new one. From there, you can create custom views, such as displaying multiple clinics, showing a provider’s schedule across linked clinics, or filtering by resources across one or several clinics. After selecting your criteria, click Confirm to refine the view by showing either the full clinic schedule or breaking it down by provider or resource. Clicking Proceed will generate the requested schedule.

All these options are available in both Day and Week views.
