Prescription Module 10/24/20

Prescriptions can now be tracked by selecting the Prescriptions Icon located from the bottom menu on the EHR.  The red number attached to the icon will indicate how many prescriptions are pending action.  Clinical Staff, Administrative Staff, Laboratory Staff, Resident and Aesthetician will be able to use the Dashboard for all the available actions as Providers or PAs. 

*Please note that biller role will not have access to the prescription icon*

Once selected, you will be able to view all of those prescriptions that have been sent, are still pending to be sent, or require some additional action.  The filters located at the top menu will help to separate these out based off of the information you are looking for.

*Please note that these prescriptions will ONLY be viewable for up to 7 days*

By selecting the red information tab, you will see a list of icons and their meaning to help you better navigate as show below

A few additional features from this tab include the following:

• The ability to change pharmacies and send multiple RX’s
• Ability to Send, Print, Fax, or Discard RX from the blue share button/Action button
• Ability to preview the prescription prior to sending by selecting the magnifying icon
• Shortcut into the patients chart by tapping on their name that appears red
