If your role within EZDERM is Clinical Staff, you must assign yourself to each patient visit before you can begin documentation within the Progress Note. If you do not do this, you will still be able to open up the progress note, but the entire note will be read-only.
You can assign yourself to a progress note from the Appointment Card screen. In the bottom right corner of the appointment card, if you have not yet assigned yourself to the visit, you will see red text that says "Assign To Me."
Tap on this text and a pop-up bubble will appear that gives you the option to assign yourself as "Staff." Tap this option and you will now be assigned to that visit.
The red text in the bottom right corner will now read "Remove Me" and you can select this option to remove yourself from the patient's care team for this visit.
