The Biopsy Tracker is a workflow that allows you to keep track of the progression of your performed biopsies, labs, and outpatient referrals (from the body map).
The Biopsy Tracker is located in the Inbox and consists of the Performed, Pending Results, and Pending Review folders.
To initiate the Biopsy Tracker, please follow these steps:
1. Place a biopsy (or anything that will be sent out to a pathologist, i.e. Excision) on the body map. This will cause the biopsy requisition to be placed in the Performed Folder.
Note: The plan must contain the procedure segment "Instructions to Pathologist" in order to generate the label and be placed in the Performed folder in the Inbox for tracking.
2. From the Performed Folder, tap on the share button in the upper right-hand corner and "Place the order" to move it to the Pending Results folder. From there you can then Print the Biopsy Requisition.
3. Once the requisition is in the Pending Results folder, you can wait for results to come in automatically if your lab is integrated with EZDERM, or you can manually add the results once they are sent to you.
4. When your results come into the system they will move your order from Pending Results to Pending Review. They will stay there until the provider reviews or cancels the results.
Note: Clicking "Cancel" within the Biopsy tracker means you would like to cancel the order in its entirety.
