Providers can pre-determine which procedure segments will populate in the Procedure Note section of the Assessment and Plan. On the EHR, Go to Settings > My Profile > Procedure Segments.
By default, there is a "General" configuration which will have all procedure segments listed within it, and these settings will be applied to any Treatment Plan type that does not have its own configuration set up.
You also have the ability to remove segments by tapping into the configuration, swiping from right to left over the segment you wish to remove, and selecting 'Delete'. This will remove the segment from the Assessment and Plan module. Please note that these settings only apply to the information displayed in the A&P and do not affect the procedure note itself.
You can also create a configuration for specific plan types (Mohs, excisions, etc) by tapping on the red "+" sign in the top right of the Procedure Segments screen.
From here, you will select which plan type you wish to create this configuration for, and tap on "Add" to select which procedure segments you want to be displayed in the Assessment and Plan (your selection(s) will be denoted by a red check mark on the right side of the screen).
If the segment is selected, if information is entered during the exam, it will be shown in the Progress Note; if the segment is not selected, it will not be shown regardless if information was entered. Once you have selected the desired segments, tap "Done" to confirm and tap "Done" one more time to save this configuration.
All of these configurations can be edited at any time to add or remove Procedure Segments. To delete this configuration, simply swipe from right to left to 'Delete'. Please note that the "General" configuration cannot be deleted, it can only be edited.
