You can check insurance eligibility from the PMS by utilizing the Check Eligibility Button. Keep in mind that the system will automatically check the eligibility of scheduled patients at 7 AM, 24 hours before their appointments. You can manually check eligibility from the schedule by scrolling down and selecting Check Eligibility. This will check the eligibility for all appointments that are listed on the schedule screen, but only for the current date (the day you check the eligibility). If filters are applied, the check will only work for the filtered results.
Rescheduled appointments as well as Canceled, No Show, Pending Cosign, and Signed Off will be excluded from this request
The Eligibility Check requested with this button uses the billing configuration of the attending provider. In addition, user permissions do not affect the eligibility check.
