On the left-hand side is the "Schedule" tab.
To create a New Appointment you can click on "New Appointment" in the upper right hand corner, you can double-click on a time window in a day view, or on a certain day when in week view. There’s also a calendar icon where you can select any day you need.
You can view the schedule for multiple providers and resources at the same time by choosing specific filters at the top of the screen. You can select certain clinics or all of them. The search bar allows you to search today's appointment for a certain patient.
The Gear Icon in the upper left-hand corner will let you change the duration of the Time Slots, the Time Slots Size, and Day Length where you can switch from 7 AM - 6 PM and a 24-hour view (Full Day), or save the filters you have applied as your default settings.
Once the appointment is saved, you will notice that when you position the pointer on it and click and hold, it turns into a crosspointer. With a single click and hold, you can move the appointment throughout the day. Positioning your pointer over the top and bottom edges of the appointment will turn your pointer into a double arrow icon and once pulled down or up, will let you change the duration of the appointment.
Double-clicking on the patient appointment will let you edit it, or view the patient's demographics by clicking on their name. A single left click on the appointment will show you appointment details including the provider, clinic, and status. From this view you are also able to see active insurance profile details such as the deductible, co-insurance, co-pay, out of pocket, and effective date of service. The bottom portion of the appointment card contains the patient balance and insurance balance if applicable. The appointment card is where you will scan the QR code to check the patient in on the EZ Check-In app.
Right-clicking on the patient appointment will make it easier for you to edit appointment details, change the status, run the cost estimator, add a card on file, edit patient details, create a patient payment, add items, check eligibility, print receipt if the patient needs it, and view the medical summary.
In the upper righthand corner of the schedule, you see a drop down list titled 'Statuses'. If you click on this arrow you will be able to see a color coded guide to the 21 different statuses EZDERM uses. If you click on the box next to a status, you can hide that status from showing on the calendar. These can be saved into your default settings using the gear icon. For more on saving default settings, see this article.
Finally, selecting the New Appointment drop-down will reveal more options, such as creating a New Appointment Series, New Resource Event, or New Clinic Note.
