If you work with a lab that EZDERM is not currently integrated with, the results can be imported into the system so that the provider will be alerted to the results in the Inbox on the EHR.
The first step is to click on Export/Import on the left-hand side of the PMS, then click Import Results.
From here you will select the Provider, the Patient, and the outstanding order that matches the results.
Drag and drop the results or click in the field to choose the file manually, and then click Import Results. The white checkmark will appear signifying that the results have been imported. The results will be saved in the patient’s chart and move the order from Pending Results to Pending Review within the Inbox on the EHR.
Please Note: If you upload the results through the Import Documents, choosing the Provider and selecting the Results folder, the results would only be saved in the patient's chart and it would not move the order within the Inbox on the EHR.
