When posting an insurance payment to cover the balance, you will have the option to select the blue Auto-Post button located under the CPT Payments section. Auto-Post will appear when the check unapplied amount is equal to or greater than the claim balance, as long as nothing was posted manually.
Once the Auto-Post button is clicked, you will see the applied amount in the Paid column and the Responsibility will change to the patient. The claim status will also change to Completed. You will then click the blue Post tab on the bottom right to save the claim with these new details.

WHEN I USE AUTO POSTING IN SECONDARY INSURANCE ALWAYS I RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING THE AMOUNT IS GREATER THAN ...... AND I DON'T KNOW WHY?
