Accessible from the Inbox, the Planned folder displays treatments that have yet to be completed. With the most recently planned treatments at the bottom of the list, the Planned folder was designed to ensure no treatment falls through the cracks.
Patients will be organized by the oldest date of service, in ascending order. Meaning, a patient with plans from DOS March 5 and April 24 will be listed above a patient with just one plan for DOS March 7.
Planned treatments can be scheduled from the Planned folder. By pressing the Clock Icon in the upper right corner of the plan, you can drag the plan to the schedule or double tap on the desired time to schedule the plan.
By default, planned treatments are displayed in the Inbox for the attending provider on the encounter and for users that are assigned to that encounter.
A treatment can enter the Planned folder in multiple ways:
- Unperforming a Treatment Plan
- Changing the Status of a Procedure
- Selecting a Plan from Pending Review (Provider Only)
Unperforming a Treatment Plan
When you are in the Physical Exam screen, you can tap on the name of the Treatment Plan towards the top of the screen (next to the red "+" icon) and deselect (uncheck) the bubble to the left of the Treatment Plan name to unperform that plan. After confirming you want to unperform the plan, you will need to add a diagnosis for the complaint or finding to close out of the Physical Exam. The patient, diagnosis, and plan will then appear in the Planned folder.
Changing the Status of a Procedure
The patient will be added to the Planned folder if the status of a procedure is changed by swiping from right to left on that treatment plan in the Physical Exam screen. More details on how to change the status of a procedure can be found here.
Selecting a Plan in the Pending Review (Provider Only)
Within the Pending Review folder, providers can add a treatment plan when reviewing pathology results to indicate some further plan is required for the patient. Once the results are signed off by the provider, the planned treatment will be added to the Planned folder where it will await completion. More information on the Pending Review screen can be found here.
