LOINC Database

When looking to find a laboratory order within the LOINC database, partial matching is enabled within the searchbar. Typing out the name of the entire order is not required, you will be able to search for your order by typing in the first few letters of some of your search terms. 

To get to the LOINC Database:

1. From within a patient's Progress note, long hold on the beaker icon. Then select the Laboratory icon.

2. From the laboratory orders screen, tap the red '+' icon in the upper left-hand corner.

3. Select the LOINC tab.

4. Begin typing the test you would like to search for.
