Send automatic, scheduled SMS messages to remind patients of their appointments:
- Customize the 100-character note in the EZDERM EHR system and how many days in advance you would like to remind your patients to reduce no-shows. We recommend setting reminders 3 days prior to the patient's scheduled appointment. Doing this will free up your staff from having to make reminder calls!
- A bonus of activating this product is the ability to send biopsy result notifications. You can inform patients via SMS that their biopsy results are available and instruct them to call the office for details. While the text message does not disclose the actual results, it frees up your staff from making phone calls, allowing them to focus on other tasks.
- If your clinic typically has a greater share of appointments that patients should not be able to cancel (e.g., diagnosis follow-ups), it’s often better for the clinic to closely manage the patient experience.
