1. To locate your Direct Message Address on the PMS, click on the practice logo > My Profile > Profile Summary. Your Direct Message Address will be located within the General Information section. You can also locate this information on the EHR by going to Settings > My Profile > clicking on your email address listed within the Profile Summary > scroll towards the bottom to see Direct Message.

2. To send a direct message to another provider, or to locate a direct message that has been received from another provider, go to the Direct Messages folder located on the Inbox screen on the EHR.
3. To compose a new direct message, click on the Direct Messages folder and click on the compose new message icon in the bottom right corner.
4. Add the providers direct messaging address in the 'To' field, add a subject, compose your message, attach any files you would like to send to the provider, and click send. It is important to note that the Direct Message Address for the provider you would like to send a message must be copied and pasted from the Direct Message Address within the providers Contact information to the 'To' field in the message. The Direct Message Address will not populate from entering and clicking on the providers name within the 'To' field.
