1. Apply the desired biopsy treatment plan to the body map. You will know the procedure has been applied when you see the procedure tag (ex. Bx BCC) instead of the anatomical location (ex. Right Scapular Back). Note: the plan must contain the procedure segment "Instructions to Pathologist" in order to generate the label and be placed in the Performed folder in the Inbox for tracking.
2. Go to Inbox > Performed.
3. You will then click "Edit" in the upper right-hand side of the screen and click on the order. This will highlight it blue. You can select multiple orders at once if you are sending them all to the same lab.
4. Click the Share icon in the upper right-hand corner.
5. Click "Place Order." Note: Clicking "Cancel" means you would like to delete the order in its entirety.
6. Select the date the order was placed (you can backdate orders this way) and click "Done."
8. Select a lab from your list of "Contacts" or select one of the office's providers from the "In House" tab if the specimen will be read by an in-house dermatopathologist. If you cannot find the lab on your list of contacts, you can add a new contact by clicking the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner. Once the lab/provider is selected and the order is placed, the lab requisition will pop up on the screen. Once you exit out of the requisition you will see a "Done" message across the order.
9. You can also view the lab requisition from the 'Pending Results' folder. To do this, go to Inbox > Pending Results.
10. Swipe from right to left on the order.
11. Click the Share button in the upper right-hand corner and click Print to print the requisition with the lab information populated.
