To download/view your pathology shorthands you will first log into your Setting>My Profile>Pathology Shorthands. You will see filters for Diagnosis, Comments, Recommendations, and Diagnosis without ICD10. If you are logging in for the first time, you will have the option to Import a library with over 1400 Public Pathology Shorthands under the Diagnosis and the Recommendations tabs. Both libraries were created by Board Certified Dermatopathologists.
If you have a shorthand without an ICD10 code within it, you will notice an explanation mark within the diagnosis list. You can tap on "Diagnosis without ICD10" and will be able to click within the shorthand and make any changes as well as add in an ICD10 code.
If you have multiple clinical diagnoses linked with your shorthand, you will notice that the ICD-10 code will only pull from whichever diagnosis is listed first, which is indicated by the green dollar sign. You can rearrange these by long pressing on the 3 lines to the right of the diagnosis and dragging the selected one to top. Please note that when you do this, the ICD-10 code will automatically changed based off of the diagnosis.
You also will have the option of creating your own shorthand by clicking on the red plus sign on the upper right hand corner. Once you select a clinical diagnosis, the system will automatically populate the ICD-10 code. Select done, and then your shorthand will be saved .
